En ny studie visar att \u00e4ven om vi m\u00e4nniskor har sv\u00e5rt att skilja p\u00e5 m\u00e4nskliga r\u00f6ster och AI-r\u00f6ster, s\u00e5 reagerar v\u00e5ra hj\u00e4rnor annorlunda n\u00e4r vi h\u00f6r dem.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Som AI r\u00f6stkloning<\/a> blir mer avancerade v\u00e4cker det etiska och s\u00e4kerhetsm\u00e4ssiga fr\u00e5gor som m\u00e4nniskor inte har st\u00e4llts inf\u00f6r tidigare.<\/p>\n

Tillh\u00f6r r\u00f6sten i andra \u00e4nden av telefonsamtalet en m\u00e4nniska, eller har den genererats av AI? Tror du att du skulle kunna se det?<\/a><\/p>\n

Forskare fr\u00e5n psykologiska institutionen vid Oslo universitet testade 43 personer f\u00f6r att se om de kunde skilja m\u00e4nskliga r\u00f6ster fr\u00e5n AI-genererade r\u00f6ster.<\/p>\n

Deltagarna var lika d\u00e5liga p\u00e5 att korrekt identifiera m\u00e4nskliga r\u00f6ster (56% noggrannhet) och AI-genererade r\u00f6ster (50,5% noggrannhet).<\/p>\n

R\u00f6stens k\u00e4nsla p\u00e5verkade hur sannolikt det var att de kunde identifiera den korrekt. Neutrala AI-r\u00f6ster identifierades med 74,9% noggrannhet j\u00e4mf\u00f6rt med endast 23% noggrannhet f\u00f6r neutrala m\u00e4nskliga r\u00f6ster.<\/p>\n

Glada m\u00e4nskliga r\u00f6ster identifierades korrekt 77% av tiden medan glada AI-r\u00f6ster identifierades med en oroande l\u00e5g 34,5% noggrannhet.<\/p>\n

S\u00e5 om vi h\u00f6r en AI-genererad r\u00f6st som l\u00e5ter glad \u00e4r vi mer ben\u00e4gna att anta att det \u00e4r en m\u00e4nniska.<\/p>\n

\u00c4ven om vi medvetet k\u00e4mpar f\u00f6r att identifiera en AI-r\u00f6st p\u00e5 r\u00e4tt s\u00e4tt, verkar v\u00e5r hj\u00e4rna uppfatta skillnaderna p\u00e5 en undermedveten niv\u00e5.<\/p>\n

Forskarna genomf\u00f6rde fMRI-skanningar av deltagarnas hj\u00e4rnor n\u00e4r de lyssnade p\u00e5 de olika r\u00f6sterna. Skanningarna avsl\u00f6jade betydande skillnader i hj\u00e4rnaktivitet som svar p\u00e5 AI- och m\u00e4nniskor\u00f6ster.<\/p>\n

Forskarna konstaterade att \"AI-r\u00f6ster aktiverade h\u00f6ger fr\u00e4mre midcingulate cortex, h\u00f6ger dorsolaterala prefrontala cortex och v\u00e4nster thalamus, vilket kan tyda p\u00e5 \u00f6kad vaksamhet och kognitiv reglering.<\/p>\n

\"D\u00e4remot framkallade m\u00e4nskliga r\u00f6ster starkare reaktioner i h\u00f6ger hippocampus samt i regioner som \u00e4r f\u00f6rknippade med k\u00e4nslom\u00e4ssig bearbetning och empati, s\u00e5som h\u00f6ger inferior frontal gyrus, anterior cingulate cortex och angular gyrus.\"<\/p>\n

Vi kan tycka att det \u00e4r sv\u00e5rt att veta om en r\u00f6st \u00e4r AI-genererad eller m\u00e4nsklig, men v\u00e5r hj\u00e4rna verkar kunna se skillnad. Den reagerar med f\u00f6rh\u00f6jd vaksamhet p\u00e5 AI-r\u00f6ster och en k\u00e4nsla av samh\u00f6righet n\u00e4r den lyssnar p\u00e5 en m\u00e4nsklig r\u00f6st.<\/p>\n

Deltagarna bed\u00f6mde m\u00e4nskliga r\u00f6ster som mer naturliga, p\u00e5litliga och autentiska, s\u00e4rskilt de glada r\u00f6sterna och gl\u00e4djeuttrycken.<\/p>\n

Doktoranden Christine Skjegstad, som genomf\u00f6rde studien tillsammans med professor Sascha Fr\u00fchholz, s\u00e4ger: \"Vi vet redan att AI-genererade r\u00f6ster har blivit s\u00e5 avancerade att de n\u00e4stan inte g\u00e5r att skilja fr\u00e5n riktiga m\u00e4nskliga r\u00f6ster.<\/p>\n

\"Det \u00e4r nu m\u00f6jligt att klona en persons r\u00f6st fr\u00e5n bara n\u00e5gra sekunders inspelning, och bedragare har anv\u00e4nt den h\u00e4r tekniken f\u00f6r att efterlikna en \u00e4lskad person i n\u00f6d och lura offer att \u00f6verf\u00f6ra pengar.<\/p>\n

\"Medan experter p\u00e5 maskininl\u00e4rning har utvecklat tekniska l\u00f6sningar f\u00f6r att uppt\u00e4cka AI-r\u00f6ster, vet man mycket mindre om hur den m\u00e4nskliga hj\u00e4rnan reagerar p\u00e5 dessa r\u00f6ster.\"<\/p>\n

Forskningen tyder p\u00e5 att v\u00e5r hj\u00e4rna k\u00e4nner av att n\u00e5got inte st\u00e5r r\u00e4tt till n\u00e4r den hanterar en syntetisk r\u00f6st och blir mer f\u00f6rsiktig.<\/p>\n
