As que n\u00e3o optaram por n\u00e3o participar foram divididas aleatoriamente no grupo de rastreio apoiado por IA (grupo de interven\u00e7\u00e3o) e no grupo de controlo. O sistema de IA forneceu uma pontua\u00e7\u00e3o de risco de malignidade numa escala de 10 n\u00edveis, utilizada para triar os exames de rastreio para leitura \u00fanica ou leitura dupla, com as pontua\u00e7\u00f5es de risco e as marcas de dete\u00e7\u00e3o assistida por computador dispon\u00edveis para os radiologistas que efectuavam o rastreio.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Resultados do estudo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: De abril de 2021 a julho de 2022, 80.033 mulheres foram designadas para rastreio apoiado por IA ou leitura dupla sem IA. O rastreio apoiado por IA resultou em 244 cancros detetados no rastreio, 861 rechamadas e 46 345 leituras de rastreio. O rastreio normal resultou em 203 cancros detectados no rastreio, 817 rechamadas e 83.231 leituras de rastreio.
