Mas, tanto quanto sabemos, ainda n\u00e3o s\u00e3o capazes de traduzir uma instru\u00e7\u00e3o verbal ou escrita numa a\u00e7\u00e3o sens\u00f3rio-motora, e muito menos de a explicar a outra intelig\u00eancia artificial para que esta a possa reproduzir\".<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A equipa de Genebra melhorou um modelo neural artificial (RNA) existente para a compreens\u00e3o de l\u00ednguas, o S-Bert. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ligaram o S-Bert a uma rede mais pequena e mais simples, simulando as \u00e1reas de perce\u00e7\u00e3o e produ\u00e7\u00e3o de linguagem do c\u00e9rebro humano - as \u00e1reas de Wernicke e Broca.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Atrav\u00e9s de treino, esta rede podia executar tarefas com base em instru\u00e7\u00f5es escritas em ingl\u00eas e depois transmitir essas tarefas linguisticamente a uma rede \"irm\u00e3\", permitindo que as duas IA comunicassem instru\u00e7\u00f5es de tarefas exclusivamente atrav\u00e9s da l\u00edngua.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reidar Riveland, um estudante de doutoramento envolvido no estudo, explicou: \"Come\u00e7\u00e1mos com um modelo existente de neur\u00f3nios artificiais, o S-Bert, que tem 300 milh\u00f5es de neur\u00f3nios e est\u00e1 pr\u00e9-treinado para compreender a linguagem. Lig\u00e1mo-lo a outra rede mais simples, com alguns milhares de neur\u00f3nios\".<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As tarefas variavam entre instru\u00e7\u00f5es simples, como apontar para um local, e comandos mais complexos que exigiam a identifica\u00e7\u00e3o de contrastes subtis entre est\u00edmulos visuais.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eis os principais resultados do estudo:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O sistema de IA podia compreender e executar instru\u00e7\u00f5es, executando corretamente tarefas novas e in\u00e9ditas 83% do tempo com base apenas em instru\u00e7\u00f5es lingu\u00edsticas.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O sistema poderia gerar descri\u00e7\u00f5es de tarefas aprendidas de forma a permitir que uma segunda IA compreendesse e replicasse essas tarefas com uma taxa de sucesso semelhante.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Isto aumenta o potencial dos modelos de IA para aprenderem e comunicarem tarefas linguisticamente, abrindo novas oportunidades na rob\u00f3tica.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Integra a compreens\u00e3o lingu\u00edstica com fun\u00e7\u00f5es sens\u00f3rio-motoras, o que significa que as IA podem conversar e compreender quando uma instru\u00e7\u00e3o lhe pede para executar uma tarefa, como tirar algo de uma prateleira ou deslocar-se numa determinada dire\u00e7\u00e3o.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\"A rede que desenvolvemos \u00e9 muito pequena.
