Mastercard's realtime fraudedetectietechnologie krijgt later dit jaar een boost wanneer het de generatieve AI-fraudedetectietool die het heeft ontwikkeld, uitrolt.<\/strong><\/p>\n

De AI-tool, genaamd Decision Intelligence Pro (DI Pro) wordt aangedreven door een terugkerend neuraal netwerk dat intern is ontwikkeld door Mastercard's cyberbeveiliging<\/a> en fraudebestrijdingsteams. Het algoritme voor fraudedetectie wordt getraind op miljarden transacties die Mastercard elk jaar verwerkt.<\/p>\n

Het model leert van de aankoopgeschiedenis van kaarthouders om de relatie tussen handelaren en kaarthouders te begrijpen.<\/p>\n

Wanneer een kaarthouder een transactie initieert, scant DI Pro een triljoen gegevenspunten om te voorspellen of een transactie waarschijnlijk frauduleus is of niet. Het berekent hoe waarschijnlijk het is dat de kaarthouder een transactie doet bij het bedrijf op basis van een geschiedenis van winkelbezoeken.<\/p>\n

In minder dan 50 milliseconden kan DI Pro voorspellen of de transactie waarschijnlijk echt is of als frauduleus moet worden gemarkeerd.<\/p>\n

DI Pro wordt naar verwachting later dit jaar ge\u00efmplementeerd, maar de eerste modellen laten zien dat het de fraudedetectie met gemiddeld 20% kan verhogen en in sommige gevallen zelfs met 300%.<\/p>\n

Bhalla zei dat DI Pro niet alleen kaarthouders beschermt tegen fraude, maar ook \"het aantal fout-positieven met meer dan 85% vermindert\".<\/p>\n
