Eerder in juni, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dailyai.com\/nl\/2023\/06\/mercedes-combines-their-mbux-in-car-system-with-chatgpt\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mercedes experimenteerde<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> met een b\u00e8taprogramma van drie maanden waarin ChatGPT-modellen in bepaalde voertuigen werden ingebouwd.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tomtom.com\/newsroom\/press-releases\/general\/420019544\/tomtom-and-microsoft-bring-generative-ai-into-the-vehicle\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Persbericht van TomTom<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> zegt: \"Bestuurders kunnen op een natuurlijke manier met hun auto praten en de AI-assistent vragen om naar een bepaalde locatie te navigeren, specifieke stops op hun route te vinden en de boordsystemen vocaal te bedienen om bijvoorbeeld de temperatuur hoger te zetten, ramen te openen of van radiozender te veranderen.\"<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">TomTom's samenwerking met Microsoft gaat terug tot 2016, toen ze begonnen met het leveren van locatiediensten voor Azure Maps.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Met deze nieuwe en verbeterde natuurlijke conversatie-interface kunnen gebruikers tijdens het rijden navigeren, haltes zoeken, verschillende boordsystemen bedienen en tal van andere functies uitvoeren.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De technologie achter deze assistent combineert de kracht van OpenAI's LMM's met Microsofts cloud- en AI-diensten.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">TomTom verzekert dat deze spraakassistent compatibel zal zijn met verschillende interfaces van grote autofabrikanten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Belangrijk is dat ze benadrukken dat autobedrijven hun unieke merknaam zullen behouden, wat suggereert dat deze technologie zal werken bij verschillende automerken. TomTom heeft nog geen specifieke partnerschappen aangekondigd, maar is van plan om meer details over deze AI te onthullen op de Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in januari.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Het systeem zal ook uitbreidbaar en modulair zijn en een flexibel platform bieden dat voertuigmerken kunnen uitbreiden naarmate de AI-technologie zich verder ontwikkelt.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Naast de echte praktische toepassingen, of ontwikkelaars het nu bedoelen of niet, zullen gebruikers grappige en nieuwe toepassingen vinden voor deze in auto's ingebouwde AI-systemen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Een gebruiker vroeg de chatbot van Mercedes bijvoorbeeld om \"haaiengrappen\", waarop de chatbot antwoordde: \"Waarom leven haaien niet op het land?
