De prestaties bij het bar-examen (een juridisch examen in de VS) bereikten het 90e percentiel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Een <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dailyai.com\/nl\/2023\/08\/study-finds-chatgpt-equals-or-excels-students-in-nine-out-of-32-subjects\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">grote studie<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> ontdekte dat ChatGPT mensen versloeg bij negen van de 32 proefpersonen. Bewonderenswaardig, maar zeker niet werelds.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/publications.aaahq.org\/iae\/article-abstract\/doi\/10.2308\/ISSUES-2023-013\/10903\/The-ChatGPT-Artificial-Intelligence-Chatbot-How?redirectedFrom=fulltext\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">recente studie<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> onder leiding van David Wood, hoogleraar boekhouding aan de Brigham Young University, onderzocht de vaardigheden van het model op het gebied van boekhouding en onthulde een opvallend gebrek aan prestaties.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Voor velen lijkt dit contra-intu\u00eftief. AI - een wiskundig systeem - blinkt toch zeker uit in wiskundige problemen?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Momenteel is dit niet het geval. Veel gebruikers hebben gemeld dat grote taalmodellen (LLM's) moeite hebben met wiskundige basisfuncties. Logische problemen lijden er ook onder - hersenkrakers halen ChatGPT er gemakkelijk uit omdat het model niet systematisch het juiste antwoord kan bepalen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Professor Wood koos voor een unieke aanpak van het onderzoek door onderzoekers via sociale media te benaderen om betrokkenheid te crowdsourcen. De respons was overweldigend, met 327 coauteurs van 186 onderwijsinstellingen in 14 landen die deelnamen.
