Dit bespaart tijd en geld en stelt artsen in staat om hun inspanningen ergens anders op te richten.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AI-technologie zal mensen echter niet volledig vervangen. NICE stelt: \"Alle door AI gemaakte contouren moeten nog steeds worden beoordeeld door een getrainde zorgprofessional en waar nodig worden bewerkt voordat ze worden gebruikt bij het plannen van radiotherapiebehandelingen.\" Het AI-ondersteunde proces is nog steeds tijdseffici\u00ebnter dan handmatig contouren maken, zelfs als rekening wordt gehouden met revisies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De onafhankelijke adviescommissie voor medische technologie\u00ebn van NICE ontdekte dat de door AI geproduceerde contouren doorgaans van dezelfde kwaliteit zijn als de contouren die handmatig worden gemaakt en dat voor de meeste contouren slechts kleine aanpassingen nodig zijn.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"tracking.nice.org.uk\" href=\"https:\/\/urlsand.esvalabs.com\/?u=http%3A%2F%2Ftracking.nice.org.uk%2Ftracking%2Fclick%3Fd%3DEgrRonj0VPRYy20r6SPqY30UF3WcLx2j20-7v9yv4nawtdIjoM7A4-7teCSkrET1mg3UTIxWHH8e1FTFFleK_GD-1FxjH-hHk2ZobLcKODGJ2J70as9tjAYVMQH7zY4b5YccB0zsygL0RjUrD7zB699azX9ERJWIguYFnNORVefD0&amp;e=9f250c40&amp;h=b3fcd4f2&amp;f=y&amp;p=n\">Gegevens NHS England<\/a>\u00a0toonde aan dat er 134.419 afleveringen van radiotherapiebehandelingen waren in Engeland van april 2021 tot maart 2022.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Klinisch bewijs suggereert een potenti\u00eble tijdsbesparing van 3 tot 80 minuten per behandelplan.
