Het is begonnen met een herziening van de <a href=\"https:\/\/consult.industry.gov.au\/supporting-responsible-ai\">regelgevend kader rond AI<\/a> in juni en een van de discussiepunten is hoe online gegevens worden gebruikt om AI-modellen te trainen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Google is al lang voorstander van een \"fair use\"-benadering in plaats van strengere auteursrechtwetten die AI-datascrapers volledig zouden blokkeren. Een voorbeeld van fair use is de manier waarop Google het internet afzoekt om geldige zoekresultaten te bieden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De webcrawler van Google kopieert een deel van de inhoud van een website en geeft deze vervolgens weer in de zoekresultaten. Meestal ziet niemand dat als een schending van het auteursrecht. Als u niet wilt dat Google uw site crawlt, kunt u de webcrawler blokkeren.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In zijn verklaring aan de Australische autoriteiten stelt Google voor dat bedrijven zoals Google toestemming moeten krijgen om gepubliceerd materiaal te scrapen om hun AI-modellen te trainen, tenzij uitgevers zich hier actief tegen verzetten. OpenAI zal deze discussie ook met belangstelling volgen nadat onlangs <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyai.com\/nl\/2023\/08\/openai-inconspicuously-unveils-its-own-data-scraper-gptbot\/\">het vrijgeven van zijn schraper GPTbot<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In een <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/technology\/ai\/ai-web-publisher-controls-sign-up\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">blogbericht in juli<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Google suggereerde dat de uitgevers misschien een aanpak zouden kunnen gebruiken die lijkt op hoe websites hun robots.txt-bestanden gebruiken.
