De enige mensen die dat nodig hebben zijn de mensen die er bezwaar tegen hebben om schrijvers te betalen wat ze waard zijn.\"<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Met steun van de Author's Guild stelt de brief, mede ondertekend door meer dan 8.000 auteurs, dat het onttrekken van werk van auteurs aan dubieuze 'schaduwbibliotheken' en andere zogenaamde 'openbare' internetbronnen die illegale kopie\u00ebn van hun werk bevatten onrechtvaardig en onethisch is.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De brief was gericht aan de leiders van 6 vooraanstaande AI-bedrijven, waaronder OpenAI, Alphabet en Meta.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sommige schaduwbibliotheken bevatten miljoenen boeken en artikelen en zijn enorm interessant voor AI-bedrijven, ondanks hun discutabele juridische status.
