Het resultaat werd als zodanig ingediend bij de wetgevende macht.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\"We hebben veel positieve reacties gehad en ook veel mensen die dachten dat het erg riskant was,\" zei congreslid Vanessa Castro, die de introductie van het wetsvoorstel leidde. Of het gepercipieerde risico lag in de kwaliteit van de wetten die zouden kunnen worden aangenomen of in de baanzekerheid van de wetgevers werd niet uitgelegd.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ChatGPT had een aantal standaardsuggesties zoals het opzetten van een overheidsinstelling om AI-systemen te reguleren volgens de 4 principes van AI-ethiek. Sommige wetgevers bekritiseerden het wetsvoorstel als een lijst van \"nice to haves\" in plaats van uitvoerbare wetten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Het door AI gegenereerde wetsvoorstel suggereerde: \"We moeten reguleren op basis van fundamentele rechten en internationale verdragen,\". Ter verdediging van ChatGPT: de rest van de wereld kan het ook niet eens worden over wat die rechten en conventies zouden moeten zijn en hoe ze te garanderen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Het wetsontwerp liet zien welke bijdrage AI kan leveren aan het wetgevingsproces. Maar het benadrukte ook hoe belangrijk menselijke discussies zijn om ervoor te zorgen dat sociale kwesties niet worden opgeofferd aan effici\u00ebntie en kille machinelogica.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AI-regelgeving in Latijns-Amerika boekt trage vooruitgang<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Costa Rica is het achtste land in Latijns-Amerika dat het afgelopen jaar wetten met betrekking tot de regulering van AI heeft aangenomen of besproken. Terwijl de technologie AI omarmt, zijn wetgevers in een race om bij te blijven met de ethische kwesties die de nieuwe technologie\u00ebn met zich meebrengen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wetgevers in Brazili\u00eb discussi\u00ebren al 4 jaar over mogelijke AI-wetten. In mei diende de voorzitter van de Braziliaanse Senaat, Rodrigo Pacheco, eindelijk een wetsvoorstel in waarin wordt beschreven hoe AI moet worden gereguleerd om Braziliaanse burgers te beschermen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De belangrijkste aspecten van het wetsvoorstel zijn gericht op het voorkomen dat problemen rond ongelijkheid en racisme worden versterkt door de introductie van AI. Deze problemen waren in Brazili\u00eb v\u00f3\u00f3r de komst van AI nog niet opgelost, dus de risico's met betrekking tot sociale kredietscores, toegang tot financiering en publieke controle die door AI kunnen worden verergerd, zijn re\u00ebel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Het wetsvoorstel is gebaseerd op paneldiscussies die al in 2021 begonnen, waarbij sommige experts zeggen dat de ontwikkelingen sindsdien <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/brazilian.report\/tech\/2023\/05\/22\/tech-roundup-ai-regulation-bill\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">maakte de rekening gedateerd<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> voordat het in de wet is vastgelegd.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Als wetgevers het tempo van de AI-technologie willen bijhouden, zullen ze vaker gebruik moeten maken van ChatGPT en niet alleen omwille van de nieuwigheid.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Costa Ricaanse wetgevers wilden de noodzaak om AI te reguleren benadrukken, dus vroegen ze ChatGPT om het wetsvoorstel voor AI-regulering voor hen te schrijven.
