In ruil daarvoor kan Microsoft de modellen van OpenAI in licentie geven en verkopen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">OpenAI en Microsoft hebben een unieke niet-exclusieve \"open relatie\", aangezien OpenAI enkele van Microsofts felste rivalen ondersteunt, zoals Salesforce. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tegelijkertijd beperkt Microsoft het potentieel van OpenAI voor integratie in zoekmachines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">OpenAI heeft licentie-opties besproken met andere zoekmachines. DuckDuckGo gebruikt bijvoorbeeld ChatGPT om zijn chatbot DuckAssist te voeden. Als concurrenten zoekmachines willen bouwen met generatieve AI om te concurreren met Bing, zal Microsoft de kosten voor het gebruik van hun index verhogen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Naast concurrentiefricties zijn er berichten over ontevredenheid onder Microsoft-werknemers vanwege de verminderde uitgaven aan interne AI-projecten en de geheimzinnigheid van OpenAI over de innerlijke werking van hun modellen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Oren Etzioni, de voormalige CEO van de non-profit onderzoeksorganisatie het Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/microsoft-and-openai-forge-awkward-partnership-as-techs-new-power-couple-3092de51\">vertelde de WSJ<\/a>Wat hen meer op een ramkoers zet, is dat beide partijen geld moeten verdienen. Het conflict is dat ze allebei geld proberen te verdienen met vergelijkbare producten.\"\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Verwarring rond de Bing chatbot<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Toen Microsoft van plan was zijn Bing chatbot te lanceren, was OpenAI nog steeds bezorgd dat de AI nog niet klaar was voor openbaar gebruik.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">De AI was gevoelig voor prompt injection-aanvallen die gebruikers in staat stelden de chatbot te manipuleren, waardoor per ongeluk bedrijfsgeheimen werden onthuld en totaal ongepaste reacties werden gegenereerd. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Binnen een paar uur na de lancering schreef de journalist van de New York Times, Kevin Roose <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/technology\/2023\/02\/16\/microsoft-bing-chatbot-professes-love-journalist-dreams-stealing\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">sprak uitgebreid met de chatbot<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> en meldde dat het hem op bizarre wijze vertelde dat het van hem hield en hem aanspoorde zijn vrouw te verlaten.
