De Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) is een staking begonnen tegen videogamebedrijven.<\/strong><\/p>\n

De vakbond is vooral bezorgd over het misbruik van generatieve AI-technologie, die stemmen en gelijkenissen van acteurs zou kunnen reproduceren zonder de juiste toestemming of compensatie.<\/p>\n

Het is een bekend onderwerp dat in de schijnwerpers kwam te staan toen Hollywood-acteurs staken<\/a> voor een historische 118 dagen vorig jaar.<\/p>\n

Deze nieuwe staking begon om 12:01 uur op 26 juli 2024, na 18 maanden van mislukte onderhandelingen over de overeenkomst inzake interactieve media (videogames).<\/span><\/p>\n

    Voor SAG-AFTRA-leden betekent de staking het onmiddellijk stopzetten van alle diensten voor de genoemde bedrijven, waaronder:<\/span><\/p>\n

    9. Repetities en cameratests<\/span><\/li>\n
    10. Audities (inclusief zelftapes)<\/span><\/li>\n
    11. Toestemming geven voor het gebruik van hun stem of gelijkenis<\/span><\/li>\n
    12. Inhoud promoten of uitvoeren voor getroffen games<\/span><\/li>\n
    13. Overeenkomen om diensten uit te voeren of digitale kopie\u00ebn te maken<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Leden die deze voorwaarden schenden, kunnen disciplinaire maatregelen tegemoet zien, waaronder afkeuring, berisping, boetes, schorsing of uitsluiting van de vakbond.<\/span><\/p>\n

      De getroffen bedrijven vertegenwoordigen een groot deel van de AAA-gameontwikkelingsindustrie, dus de staking zal waarschijnlijk gevolgen hebben voor een groot aantal spraakmakende titels die momenteel in ontwikkeling zijn.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Wat wil SAG-AFTRA van gamebedrijven?<\/h2>\n

      SAG-AFTRA voorzitter Fran Drescher legde het standpunt van de vakbond uit, <\/span>onder vermelding van<\/span><\/a>\"We gaan niet akkoord met een contract dat bedrijven toestaat AI te misbruiken ten nadele van onze leden. Genoeg is genoeg.\"<\/span><\/p>\n
