Dat geeft ook aan hoe bot ze zijn als het erop aankomt.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dan Hendrycks, de veiligheidsadviseur van Elon Musks startup xAI, merkte op dat de vrijwillige verbintenissen zouden helpen om \"de basis te leggen voor concrete binnenlandse regelgeving\".<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Een terechte opmerking, maar volgens sommige vooraanstaande onderzoekers moeten we zelf nog 'de basis leggen' wanneer extreme risico's op de deur kloppen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Niet iedereen is het eens over <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dailyai.com\/nl\/2023\/11\/the-battle-of-the-ai-godfathers-is-ai-risky-or-not\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">hoe gevaarlijk AI echt is<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">maar het punt blijft dat het sentiment achter deze kaders nog niet overeenkomt met acties.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Naties vormen AI-veiligheidsnetwerk<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Terwijl deze kleinere top over AI-veiligheid in Seoul, Zuid-Korea, van start gaat, zijn tien landen en de Europese Unie (EU) overeengekomen om een internationaal netwerk van door de overheid gesteunde \"AI-veiligheidsinstituten\" op te richten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De \"<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/seoul-declaration-for-safe-innovative-and-inclusive-ai-ai-seoul-summit-2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Intentieverklaring van Seoul voor internationale samenwerking op het gebied van AI-veiligheidswetenschap<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\"Bij de overeenkomst zijn landen betrokken als het Verenigd Koninkrijk, de Verenigde Staten, Australi\u00eb, Canada, Frankrijk, Duitsland, Itali\u00eb, Japan, Zuid-Korea, Singapore en de EU.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">China ontbrak opvallend genoeg in de overeenkomst.
