Stel je eens voor hoe machtig ze zouden zijn als ze de werknemers van OpenAI hadden overgenomen na het dramatische <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyai.com\/nl\/2023\/11\/sam-altman-and-greg-brockman-join-microsoft-in-new-chapter-for-agi\/\">2023 debacle leiderschap<\/a> waarbij Sam Altman werd ontslagen en weer werd aangenomen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ondertussen heeft Google geworsteld met misstappen rond zijn Gemini AI, die het ras van historische figuren heeft veranderd en over het algemeen slechte prestaties en toepassing heeft laten zien.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wat betreft Inflection's <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyai.com\/nl\/2023\/07\/inflection-ai-raises-1-3-billion-just-two-months-after-releasing-its-chatbot-pi\/\">$1,3 miljard droom<\/a> van meer persoonlijke AI, lijkt het bijna van de ene op de andere dag te zijn verdampt.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De snelle ondergang van het bedrijf onderstreept zowel de intense concurrentie en consolidatie in de AI-ruimte als de macht van Big Tech-spelers zoals Microsoft om zelfs de best gefinancierde startups te maken of te breken.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Of Inflection zichzelf opnieuw kan uitvinden valt nog te bezien - maar de meest waardevolle activa zijn duidelijk opgenomen in Microsofts almaar groeiende AI-imperium.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Is er een \"derde weg\"?<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Terwijl grote techspelers zoals Microsoft en Google strijden om dominantie in de AI-ruimte, heeft Anthropic zich ontpopt als een goed gefinancierde derde weg.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anthropic is opgericht door OpenAI-alumni Dario Amodei, Chris Olah en anderen en heeft grote investeringen aangetrokken van verschillende geldschieters. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Naast Dustin Moskovitz, Eric Schmidt en het Center for Emerging Risk Research, wordt Anthropic gesteund door Amazon, dat van plan is om <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyai.com\/nl\/2023\/09\/amazon-to-invest-4-billion-in-ai-developer-anthropic\/\">tot $4 miljard investeren, <\/a>en Google, dat wil investeren <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyai.com\/nl\/2023\/10\/google-set-to-invest-2-billion-in-ai-startup-anthropic\/\">tot $2 miljard<\/a>.
