Forskerne tok utgangspunkt i de gjennomsnittlige karbonutslippene fra en menneskelig forfatter eller illustrat\u00f8r og sammenlignet disse med utslippene fra AI-modeller som utf\u00f8rte de samme oppgavene.<\/p>\n<p>Sammenligningen er utfordrende fordi menneskers karbonutslipp varierer globalt. Utslippsfotavtrykket til en innbygger i USA er p\u00e5 rundt 15 tonn CO2 per \u00e5r, mens en innbygger i India slipper ut rundt 1,9 tonn per innbygger.<\/p>\n<p>Forskerne anslo at en menneskelig skribent skriver rundt 300 ord i timen.
