oppfylle sine ambisi\u00f8se visjoner om \u00e5 modellere hjernens mest intrikate prosesser, men kom i stor grad til kort n\u00e5r det gjaldt \u00e5 oppn\u00e5 en virkelig forst\u00e5else av unnvikende begreper som bevissthet.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Man kan si at det er passende at den menneskelige hjernens kompleksitet har vunnet over verdens mest ambisi\u00f8se nevrovitenskapelige prosjekt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dette overskygger imidlertid ikke helt prosjektets andre suksesser. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If\u00f8lge Katrin Amunts, forskningsdirekt\u00f8r ved HBP, har prosjektet resultert i \"verdensledende 3D-hjerneatlas, gjennombrudd for persontilpasset medisin basert snart er avsluttet, var forskerne p\u00e5 konferansen optimistiske med tanke p\u00e5 de fremtidige konsekvensene.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\"Et prosjekt har per definisjon alltid en begynnelse og en slutt, men det vi ser n\u00e5 ved avslutningen av Human Brain Project, er en fortsettelse\", sier Viktor Jirsa, forsker ved Aix-Marseille-universitetet.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stephanie Forkel fra Radboud-universitetet i Nederland understreket viktigheten av internasjonalt samarbeid: \"Vi Forskning fra prosjektet har v\u00e6rt avgj\u00f8rende for \u00e5 unders\u00f8ke og utvikle nye behandlingsformer for nevrologiske tilstander som epilepsi og Parkinsons sykdom. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">S<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Forskere utforsker m\u00e5ter \u00e5 bruke dype hjernestimuleringsteknikker p\u00e5, i f\u00f8rste omgang modellert og <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.humanbrainproject.eu\/en\/follow-hbp\/news\/2023\/02\/10\/human-brain-project-researchers-improve-parkinsons-disease-classification\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">forst\u00e5tt gjennom HBP-forskning<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, for \u00e5 lindre symptomene p\u00e5 Parkinsons sykdom.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bruk av kunstig intelligens til \u00e5 forst\u00e5 visuelle stimuli<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Et av HBPs viktigste resultater de siste \u00e5rene er \u00e5 forst\u00e5 hvordan <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.humanbrainproject.eu\/en\/follow-hbp\/news\/2023\/08\/17\/understanding-how-brain-makes-sense-what-we-see\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">hjernen behandler visuelle stimuli<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Forskere fra Universitetet i Amsterdam har observert at hjernens visuelle tolkninger avhenger av auditive og taktile input, ikke bare av stimulienes visuelle egenskaper. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Synssansen er n\u00e6rt knyttet til andre sanser, som h\u00f8rsel og, overraskende nok, ber\u00f8ring. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dette tyder p\u00e5 at v\u00e5r forst\u00e5else av omgivelsene er en mer interaktiv og multisensorisk prosess enn tidligere antatt.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">HBP-forskeren Cyriel Pennartz, en av studiens forfattere, forklarte at dette multimodale synet p\u00e5 sanseprosessering st\u00f8tter teorien om \"nevro-representasjonalisme\", som ser persepsjon som \"konstruksjonen av beste gjetning-representasjoner av omgivelsene v\u00e5re\".<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">P\u00e5 bakgrunn av denne forskningen har forskere fra Graz University of Technology i HBP trent opp en storskala AI-modell som etterligner den prim\u00e6re synsbarken hos mus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deretter kan en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencealert.com\/a-brain-implant-has-allowed-a-blind-woman-to-see-simple-2d-shapes-and-letters\">egen studie<\/a> utviklet et hjerneimplantat for \u00e5 gi synshemmede synet tilbake etter <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tester viste at stimulering av synsbarken fremkaller visuell persepsjon hos aper.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Denne tiln\u00e6rmingen stimulerer hjernen direkte, og g\u00e5r utenom \u00f8ynene og synsnerven i prosessen.
