Il s'agit de collecter des quantit\u00e9s massives de donn\u00e9es de capteurs m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques, qui sont ensuite introduites dans des \u00e9quations complexes trait\u00e9es par des superordinateurs.<\/p>\n<p>Les \u00e9quations sont affin\u00e9es par des \u00e9quipes d'experts et sont devenues de plus en plus pr\u00e9cises, mais elles n\u00e9cessitent encore beaucoup de puissance de traitement informatique et prennent beaucoup de temps pour aboutir \u00e0 une pr\u00e9diction.<\/p>\n<p>La PNT tente essentiellement d'utiliser des algorithmes pour mod\u00e9liser le fonctionnement de l'atmosph\u00e8re afin de pr\u00e9dire ce qui va se passer.<\/p>\n<p>Ce que fait GraphCast est beaucoup plus simple, mais ne peut pas \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par des \u00e9quations traditionnelles.<\/p>\n<p>Le mod\u00e8le GraphCast utilise des pr\u00e9visions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques bas\u00e9es sur l'apprentissage automatique (MLWP) et est entra\u00een\u00e9 sur environ 50 ans de donn\u00e9es m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques historiques.<\/p>\n<p>Il prend ensuite ces donn\u00e9es et, au lieu de cr\u00e9er un mod\u00e8le de notre atmosph\u00e8re, il cherche des mod\u00e8les dans les donn\u00e9es.
