Cette m\u00e9thode n\u00e9cessite g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement une hospitalisation d'une nuit et la pose d'une vingtaine de capteurs sur le patient.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les donn\u00e9es de ces capteurs sont ensuite consolid\u00e9es dans l'indice d'apn\u00e9e-hypopn\u00e9e (IAH), qui mesure le nombre d'apn\u00e9es (arr\u00eats de la respiration) par heure afin d'\u00e9valuer la gravit\u00e9 de la maladie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Outre sa lenteur et sa lourdeur, la PSG pr\u00e9sente des inconv\u00e9nients. Comme l'a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Hyung-Sin Kim de l'Universit\u00e9 nationale de S\u00e9oul en Cor\u00e9e du Sud, \"de nombreuses personnes disent qu'elles ne peuvent pas bien dormir pendant la PSG en raison des inconv\u00e9nients. A<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les tests pr\u00e9cis n\u00e9cessitent l'observation du sommeil naturel pendant plusieurs nuits afin d'att\u00e9nuer la variabilit\u00e9 du sommeil d'une nuit \u00e0 l'autre et l'effet de la premi\u00e8re nuit, ce qui est pratiquement impossible pour la PSG dans la pratique\".<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pour r\u00e9soudre ces probl\u00e8mes, Kim et son \u00e9quipe ont mis en place un syst\u00e8me dans lequel une personne soup\u00e7onn\u00e9e d'AOS est observ\u00e9e \u00e0 l'aide d'une cam\u00e9ra infrarouge pendant son sommeil. Leur outil d'IA, SlAction, peut alors diagnostiquer le trouble \u00e0 partir de la vid\u00e9o.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pour entra\u00eener l'IA, les chercheurs ont utilis\u00e9 des s\u00e9quences vid\u00e9o de nombreuses personnes, d'une dur\u00e9e d'environ 6 heures chacune, recueillies dans trois h\u00f4pitaux.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ces vid\u00e9os, accompagn\u00e9es de diagnostics professionnels, ont permis \u00e0 l'IA d'apprendre \u00e0 identifier les signes visuels du SAOS, tels que les r\u00e9veils fr\u00e9quents ou les hal\u00e8tements. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lors des \u00e9valuations, le syst\u00e8me a identifi\u00e9 le SAOS avec un taux de pr\u00e9cision de 88%.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fonctionnement de l'\u00e9tude<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Introduction de SlAction<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Un groupe de chercheurs a mis au point \"SlAction\", un syst\u00e8me innovant con\u00e7u pour d\u00e9tecter l'apn\u00e9e obstructive du sommeil (AOS) chez les individus.
