Les jumeaux num\u00e9riques sont couramment utilis\u00e9s pour mod\u00e9liser les syst\u00e8mes de fabrication et les villes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le projet de contr\u00f4le du trafic a\u00e9rien, baptis\u00e9 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.turing.ac.uk\/research\/research-projects\/project-bluebird-ai-system-air-traffic-control\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Projet Bluebird<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">est une initiative de 15 millions de livres sterling qui explore les contributions potentielles de l'IA \u00e0 l'assistance, voire au d\u00e9passement des contr\u00f4leurs a\u00e9riens humains.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Soutenu par le gouvernement britannique, le projet implique une collaboration avec le National Air Traffic Services (NATS), responsable du contr\u00f4le du trafic a\u00e9rien au Royaume-Uni, ainsi qu'avec l'Alan Turing Institute et l'universit\u00e9 d'Exeter.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les objectifs du projet<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le projet Bluebird est en cours depuis plus de deux ans et vise \u00e0 orienter les vols vers des itin\u00e9raires plus \u00e9conomes en carburant, \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les retards et \u00e0 att\u00e9nuer les encombrements, en particulier dans les plates-formes de correspondance \u00e0 fort trafic comme l'a\u00e9roport londonien d'Heathrow.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le projet vise \u00e9galement \u00e0 rem\u00e9dier \u00e0 la p\u00e9nurie actuelle de contr\u00f4leurs a\u00e9riens, une fonction qui n\u00e9cessite une longue p\u00e9riode de formation de trois ans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Richard Cannon, responsable de la recherche au sein des NATS pour le projet Bluebird, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \"Nous nous sommes pr\u00e9par\u00e9s \u00e0 cette \u00e9volution au cours de la derni\u00e8re d\u00e9cennie en enregistrant les mouvements du trafic a\u00e9rien au-dessus du Royaume-Uni\". Cannon.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La vision \u00e0 long terme est de combiner les comp\u00e9tences de l'IA avec celles des op\u00e9rateurs humains. Toutefois, il faudra plusieurs ann\u00e9es d'essais avant d'envisager une transition officielle vers un syst\u00e8me contr\u00f4l\u00e9 par ordinateur.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le mois dernier, le syst\u00e8me de trafic a\u00e9rien britannique est tomb\u00e9 en panne, ne traitant pas les donn\u00e9es des plans de vol pendant un jour f\u00e9ri\u00e9, ce qui a entra\u00een\u00e9 de nombreuses perturbations dans les transports.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NATS <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/uk\/uk-aviation-regulator-review-air-traffic-control-failure-2023-09-06\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le d\u00e9faut de l'ordinateur<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> La Commission a estim\u00e9 qu'il s'agissait d'une \"probabilit\u00e9 de 1 sur 15 millions\" et continue d'enqu\u00eater sur le probl\u00e8me.
