Lorsqu'elles entrent en phase de s\u00e9nescence, elles commencent \u00e0 lib\u00e9rer des prot\u00e9ines connues pour provoquer des inflammations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cela peut affecter les cellules saines voisines, cr\u00e9ant potentiellement un environnement inflammatoire.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Au fil du temps, cette accumulation d'inflammation peut contribuer \u00e0 diverses complications de sant\u00e9.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Par exemple, l'inflammation est li\u00e9e \u00e0 de nombreuses maladies, notamment les maladies neurologiques et d\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ratives, le diab\u00e8te de type 2, la fibrose pulmonaire, l'arthrose et le cancer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Par cons\u00e9quent, si l'arr\u00eat de la r\u00e9plication cellulaire est essentiel pour pr\u00e9venir la propagation des l\u00e9sions de l'ADN, la r\u00e9action inflammatoire associ\u00e9e aux cellules s\u00e9nescentes peut entra\u00eener d'autres probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 si elle n'est pas correctement prise en charge.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">C'est l\u00e0 que les m\u00e9dicaments s\u00e9nolytiques peuvent \u00eatre utiles.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le r\u00f4le de l'IA<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Des recherches ant\u00e9rieures sur des souris de laboratoire ont d\u00e9montr\u00e9 que les m\u00e9dicaments s\u00e9nolytiques am\u00e9liorent ce sc\u00e9nario inflammatoire en \u00e9liminant les cellules s\u00e9nescentes et en \u00e9pargnant les cellules saines.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bien qu'il existe environ 80 s\u00e9nolytiques connus, seule une combinaison de deux d'entre eux, le dasatinib et la querc\u00e9tine, a \u00e9t\u00e9 test\u00e9e chez l'homme.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La d\u00e9couverte de m\u00e9dicaments est exceptionnellement co\u00fbteuse et prend g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement de 10 \u00e0 20 ans - c'est un goulot d'\u00e9tranglement important dans le pipeline de d\u00e9veloppement des m\u00e9dicaments.
