Les chercheurs n'ont pas class\u00e9 les enfants dans des groupes de genre sp\u00e9cifiques, mais ont plut\u00f4t utilis\u00e9 ces scores pour placer les enfants le long d'un spectre d'expression et d'identit\u00e9 de genre.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cela a permis d'obtenir deux points de vue diff\u00e9rents sur l'identit\u00e9 et l'expression sexuelles de chaque enfant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En voici les principales conclusions :<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Pr\u00e9diction du sexe<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Les chercheurs ont d\u00e9couvert qu'ils pouvaient d\u00e9terminer si un enfant \u00e9tait de sexe masculin ou f\u00e9minin avec une pr\u00e9cision d'environ 77% en se basant sur les sch\u00e9mas de connectivit\u00e9 c\u00e9r\u00e9brale.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Pr\u00e9diction du sexe<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Lorsqu'il s'agissait de pr\u00e9dire le sexe d'un enfant (sur la base des d\u00e9clarations des parents), la pr\u00e9cision chutait de fa\u00e7on spectaculaire - \u00e0 environ 8% seulement. En revanche, les sch\u00e9mas associ\u00e9s au sexe \u00e9taient plus dispers\u00e9s dans l'ensemble du cerveau.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Conformit\u00e9 au genre<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: L'\u00e9tude a montr\u00e9 que les gar\u00e7ons avaient tendance \u00e0 avoir un comportement plus conforme aux normes de genre que les filles, selon les d\u00e9clarations des enfants et de leurs parents.
