En mulighed er at transportere ressourcer ud i rummet med en raket, hvilket i stigende grad er blevet muligt med SpaceX's Falcon Heavy-system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Men da hver mission koster milliarder af dollars, ville det v\u00e6re betydeligt mere effektivt at syntetisere og samle disse ressourcer p\u00e5 stedet ved hj\u00e6lp af autonome robotter og forskningslaboratorier, der sendes til planeten, f\u00f8r mennesker ankommer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Robotter kunne g\u00e5 i gang med at bygge menneskeklar, pr\u00e6fabrikeret infrastruktur til kolonisatorer.
