Processen er udfordrende p\u00e5 grund af kontaminering fra andre celler og partikler, og hvis embryologen overser s\u00e6dcellerne, falder succesraten.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Det AI-drevne SpermSearch-v\u00e6rkt\u00f8j er designet til at fremskynde denne proces. Teamet tr\u00e6nede AI-algoritmen ved hj\u00e6lp af tusindvis af mikroskopbilleder med m\u00e6rkede s\u00e6dceller. AI-v\u00e6rkt\u00f8jet l\u00e6rte at identificere, hvordan s\u00e6dcellerne s\u00e5 ud gennem billedanalyse.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Holdet brugte b\u00e5de sunde s\u00e6dpr\u00f8ver og testikelv\u00e6vspr\u00f8ver fra syv patienter, der var diagnosticeret med NOA, til at teste.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Disse patienter i alderen 36 til 55 \u00e5r havde tidligere gennemg\u00e5et kirurgisk s\u00e6dudtagning p\u00e5 klinikken og doneret restv\u00e6v, der var forberedt til s\u00e6dudtagning, men ikke blev brugt.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">AI-systemet blev derefter sat op mod en embryolog i en tidstest for identifikation af s\u00e6dceller og n\u00f8jagtighed.
